Abstract:An industry veteran with 14 years of invaluable experience, Maria Markidou, who was FXOpen's former executive, is now the newly appointed Executive Director of Doto.
Doto is an online broker that is currently authorised to conduct business in the European Union, Asia, and South Africa, three important international markets.
On Monday, Doto announced Maria Markidou's nomination to the position of executive director. Doto claimed that by making this new hire, it has reinforced its operations in Cyprus and laid the groundwork for entering the retail trading market.

Having worked in the FX and CFD industries for 14 years, Maria Markidou most recently held the position of Regional Director for all European operations at FXOpen. Maria co-led the acquisition of AMB Prime (by FXOpen), which later evolved into FXOpen EU before she officially joined FXOpen. She played a key role in managing the business operations, establishing the broker's dealing department, and supervising the regulatory reporting and risk management activities while serving as Executive Director and Head of Dealing of Own Account at AMB Prime.
Over the course of a more than ten-year career, Markidou has also held positions at Skopalino Finance Limited as the Head of Executive of Orders, Alpari FS Limited as a Services Provider, and at the Cyprus University of Technology as a Research Fellow. She worked as a Senior Financial Dealer and Own Account Supervisor at Windsor Brokers Limited from November 2005 to December 2008.
Zamboglou, another new hire Doto is now the Group's CEO, commented that Masrkidou would be in charge of enhancing the company's online trading product for her repertoire has proven her to possess great knowledge and a deep understanding of the financial services industry and she will be playing a significant role in boosting Doto's global business development.
