Abstract:CLSA Premium Ltd (HKG:6877), formerly KVB Kunlun, and Beijing Tong Ren Tang (Cayman) Limited (TRT International), a forex broker, have signed a strategic partnership agreement to expand healthcare businesses (including Chinese medicine).
CLSA Premium Ltd (HKG:6877), formerly KVB Kunlun, and Beijing Tong Ren Tang (Cayman) Limited (TRT International), a forex broker, have signed a strategic partnership agreement to expand healthcare businesses (including Chinese medicine).
The collaboration will involve, among other things:
TRT International will provide technical help to the Company in the areas of healthcare product specialization, procurement channel, product development, and Chinese medicine application.
TRT International will give training to the company on the healthcare industry and Chinese medicine.
TRT International will second employees with healthcare expertise to the company.
Network-building - The Company and TRT International will reciprocally introduce their networks and individuals in the healthcare industry (including Chinese medicine) to improve, among other things, network building.
Further Partnership - Subject to the evolution of healthcare business collaboration and market circumstances, the Company and TRT International may evaluate potential or reciprocal investment or assistance to each other.
The license to sell Chinese medicines - Given that the Group has a wholesaler license in proprietary Chinese medicines, it shall offer appropriate support and a route to TRT International for TRT International to distribute Chinese medicines in the Greater China area.
“The Board believes that entering into the Strategic Cooperation Agreement would enable the Group to leverage on the expertise of the TRT International group for expanding the modular management and expansion of healthcare products businesses (including Chinese medicine), and would play a positive role in diversifying the Group's revenue stream,” CLSA Premium said.
CLSA Premium Ltd, originally KVB Kunlun Financial Group Ltd, is an investment holding firm that specializes in leveraged foreign exchange, commodities, and index trading.
