Abstract:Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has launched the Saarthi App and added useful tools and resources to its official investor website to help improve investor awareness and education. These tools are designed to assist both new and current investors in understanding and managing their investments more effectively.

The Authority mentioned some tools and resources-
•Video Learning Repository- SEBI has curated a repository of videos on investor awareness and education. These videos have been sourced from exchanges, depositories, the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), the National Centre for Financial NCFE), and other educational sources. The repository covers stocks, bonds, futures and options, mutual funds, recent investor-friendly initiatives, precautions to take while investing in the securities markets, personal finance, and more. This repository would assist investors in making responsible decisions regarding their investments.
•Spot a Scam- This interactive tool allows users to assess whether an investment offer might be a scam. By answering a few questions, investors can evaluate the legitimacy of an investment opportunity and determine if it is genuine or simply too good to be true.
• Check your Financial Health- The Financial Health Checkup tool helps investors to evaluate their financial status by answering questions on various topics. Based on the responses, this tool provides an overview of an individual's financial health and offers broad suggestions for improvement.
•Financial Calculators- Thewebsite offers 24 financial calculators, covering a wide range of investment-related calculators to assist investors in financial planning. The calculators are designed to cater to the diverse needs of investors, enabling them to analyze and plan their investments effectively and make informed investment decisions.
According to the authority, SEBI's enhanced website reflects its ongoing commitment to protecting and empowering investors. Key tools and resources are also available on the SEBI “Saa₹thi” app, which includes a financial health check tool, spot a scam, modules explaining KYC procedures, mutual funds, ETFs, buying and selling shares on stock exchanges, the investor grievances redressal mechanism, and the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
