Scam Alert: Victim Loses Rs. 6.3 Million in 'BITFINEW' Investment Fraud

The cryptocurrency market seems fascinating, but in reality, it is risky. You need to be on high alert if you wish to excel in this dynamic market. Your one small act of ignorance turned you into a victim. Why am I saying this? Read the case below.

In January, a man named Reyasen approached an investor from the South Kannada district of Karnataka, India, through Facebook. Reyasen introduced himself as a cryptocurrency trader. Later on, he introduced the Indian man to “Mentor Peter Paul.”

This guy named mentor Peter Paul encouraged the victim to invest in cryptocurrencies on BITFINEW.COM. They exchanged numbers and started talking on WhatsApp. The scammer told the victim that he would charge a 30% commission. He was convinced and transferred money to the given transfer links.

He invested, and in the beginning, everything was going smoothly. The victim got a profit. Later on, he asked some of his friends to join and invest in the same platform. His friends were very impressed by the victims portfolio; therefore, they invested a huge amount in the platform.

One day, when the victim tried to withdraw his profit, his account was blocked. He communicated with Paul. The victim became suspicious after Paul assured him it was only a technical issue, so he asked his friends to try to withdraw. They encountered the same issue. They then discovered that they had been victimized and blocked.
